It has been a week since I started this ViSalus 90 day challenge. Here is the break down of the last 7 days.
1) Keeping my diet in check is gonna be kinda hard, but I didn’t do too bad this week. Had about 3 bad meals the entire week. That’s a win.
2) Getting back into the groove of working out isn’t as easy as it was when I was in my 20’s. However I am doing it. Right now I am doing about 20 mins of cardio about 12 min of actual jogging and 4 min of warm up and 4 of cool down. Doing a modified circuit only doing big muscle groups to re-train my fat body to life things.
3) Body by ViSalus supplements:
a) the meal replacements taste really, really good. I have them randomly. Sometimes for breakfast, lunch or dinner. But my wife has made some good mixes. Choco cherry, Choco peanut butter, Fruit and berries. I have tried weight watchers shakes…no bueno, Advocare back in the day…they are ok. But seriously these taste great, which helps cause I don’t mind at all drinking them.
b) Neuro: Is a great energy booster. I have the raspberry flavor. It did what it said it would do. The only complaint is that there wasn’t enough “flavor” to it. I got a hint of raspberry, but that was it. All in all, good product. Drop it into a small water bottle, shake and go.
c) Vi-Trim: Used this a few times…did it work? I don’t know. Jury is still out. I can say that I did take it before times I knew I would be hungry (early after noon around 2pm to 4pm) and I wasn’t. Also it’s a flavor-less powder. No taste to it, but you can see it in the water.
So after week one the results?
I LOST 2 LBS. IN 7 DAYS…not too shabby
